unresolved trauma
unresolved trauma can shape the way you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world around you — often long after the original experiences have passed. trauma may stem from childhood experiences, relational wounds, loss, medical experiences, betrayal, chronic stress, or events that left you feeling unsafe, unseen, or emotionally overwhelmed. you may notice anxiety, emotional numbness, hypervigilance, difficulty trusting yourself or others, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or feeling “stuck” in patterns you cannot fully explain.
therapy provides a space to gently explore and process these experiences at a pace that feels safe and supportive. through a compassionate, nervous-system-informed approach, we work toward helping you reconnect with your sense of self, increase emotional regulation, develop healthier internal patterns, and move from survival into deeper healing and wholeness.
relationships/singleness
relationships can deeply impact our emotional well-being, identity, and sense of safety. whether you are navigating communication struggles, conflict, disconnection, boundaries, excessive singleness, breakups, trust issues, or repeated relational patterns, therapy can help you better understand both yourself and the dynamics within your relationships.
together, we explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, and unmet emotional needs may be shaping current interactions. therapy can support you in developing healthier communication, stronger boundaries, increased emotional awareness, and more authentic, connected relationships — both with others and with yourself.
attachment wounds
attachment wounds often develop through early relational experiences where emotional needs were inconsistently met, dismissed, criticized, or unsafe to express. These experiences can impact how you connect with yourself and others throughout adulthood. You may struggle with fear of abandonment, difficulty trusting, emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, perfectionism, anxious attachment, avoidance, or feeling disconnected within relationships.
in therapy, we explore the deeper relational patterns that may be influencing your current experiences. by building awareness, emotional safety, and self-compassion, we work toward developing healthier connections, stronger boundaries, increased self-worth, and a more secure relationship with yourself and others.
grief & loss
grief is not limited to the death of a loved one. it can also emerge through divorce, fertility struggles, estrangement, identity changes, health challenges, miscarriage, life transitions, or the loss of the life you once imagined. grief often carries layers of sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, anxiety, and disorientation that can feel isolating or difficult to navigate alone.
therapy offers a space where your grief does not need to be rushed, minimized, or “fixed.” together, we create room to honor your experience, process the emotional impact of loss, and support you in moving forward while still holding connection to what mattered most. healing does not mean forgetting — it means learning how to carry your experiences with greater compassion, meaning, and support.
perimenopause & menopause mental health
perimenopause and menopause can bring profound emotional, physical, and identity-related changes that are often misunderstood or overlooked. Hormonal fluctuations may contribute to increased anxiety, mood changes, irritability, brain fog, grief, sleep disruption, lowered self-esteem, or a growing sense that you no longer recognize yourself in the same way.
this season of life can also surface deeper questions around identity, aging, relationships, motherhood, purpose, sexuality, and self-worth. therapy provides a supportive space to process these transitions with compassion and understanding. together, we work toward helping you reconnect with yourself, navigate change with greater clarity and self-trust, and create a more grounded, empowered relationship with this evolving stage of life.
