As a courtesy I will verify benefits prior to the first appointment to ensure I am in-network with your specific policy. It is HIGHLY recommended that you call the number on your card directly to verify that your provider is in-network.
If we are not in-network with your insurance company, they still may cover some, if not all, fees associated using your out-of-network benefits. Please check with your insurance company to see what coverage you may have to see an out-of-network provider.
Please note your benefits/insurance agreement is between you and your insurance company, resulting in Counsel Connect not being able to guarantee coverage and/or reimbursement. You will be responsible for any fees not covered by your insurance. All fees are due at time of service.
good faith estimate
Effective January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act required practitioners to provide a Good Faith Estimate to those who are uninsured and/or utilize self-pay services, and do not apply to any individuals who are using insurance benefits, including “out of network benefits” (i.e.., submitting super bills to insurance for reimbursement). The GFE provides details to the cost of your medical and/or mental health care will cost. You have the right to request and receive a GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including therapy services. It is possible to be charged more. For more details about the No Surprises Act and Good Faith Estimate, please visit here. https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
cancellation policy
Scheduling an appointment is a commitment that both therapist’s and client’s honor. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled if 48-hour notice is provided. Please notify your me via email to cancel your appointment. If sessions are cancelled or rescheduled with less than the required notice, or if a client misses a session, the client agrees to pay for that session at it’s full session rate, which is not covered by insurance. If you are up to 15 minutes late, you will still have the option of a shortened appointment at full session fee and at scheduled end time. After 20 minutes, appointment will be considered a “no show” and handled like a late cancellation.
